It's been a long while since i attempted realism with graphite, probably 7 years, glad to see it didn't come out too badly.
Ian McKellen is probably my favorite actor, in my view his power of performance is comparable to none.

Mechanical 0.5 pencil and 6B pencil. Also a cotton blender stick. Those things are pretty neat.

I cannot explain well enough in English why I see your 'handwriting' in here but I'll give it a try; I can see a similarity in the moustache hair with your watercolour hairs. Also a certain roundness in wrinkles and folds. It's hard to explain, even in Dutch, but I really noticed it immediately.
