Dream Priest

Thorvald actually wanted to be a game developer, but being born into a family of hereditary priesthood, he didn't have much choice. He's rather grumpy, and grows nightmares more often than not. When chastised for his antisociality, he fixes the speaker with a mournful stare and grunts 'I'd like to see you wearing somnic amplifiers on -your- antlers'.

While painting this, i kept mentally patting myself on the shoulder and saying i'm a genius. This worn off, of course, but the feeling was nice, i've only had it a couple of times before. And it had been difficult. Don't -ever- talk to me about multiple light sources!!! Energy spheres!? Even simple candlelight, so troublesome.
Thorvald is somewhat affected by world of warcraft character design, not directly tho. Clearly he'd look better in digital...those pretty lights of their blow my mind. But i'm not nearly good enuff, and still tablet-less.
